Alison Weir, bestselling author and historian will be talking about her new book, ‘Elizabeth of York: The Last White Rose.’ It will be an interesting event delving into the past so if you enjoy reading, books, history, the Tudors and would like to help us fundraise for this terminal disease why not come along. Pulmonary Fibrosis is progressive scarring of the lungs and there is no cure.
Alison is also in conversation with Dr Martin Heale, Reader in Medieval History from the University of Liverpool.
Tudor Legacies: The Queens of Henry VIII re-enactment group will also be bringing characters to life.
Simply Books of Bramhall will be joining us for purchasing books which can be signed during the break.
The venue is accessible and approximately 8 minutes walk from the train station.
