High Lane Village Neighbourhood Forum submit Neighbourhood Plan to SMBC

Information from the Chief Planning Officer for SMBC:

High Lane Village Neighbourhood Forum has submitted a proposed Neighbourhood Plan to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.  Representations on the proposed Neighbourhood Plan are now invited.  Please see below for details.

The proposed Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents are available for inspection on the Council’s website at https://consultation.stockport.gov.uk/ They can also be viewed by appointment only during opening hours at:

  • Marple Library, Memorial Park, Marple, Stockport, SK6 6BA;
  • Hazel Grove Library, Beech Avenue, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK7 4QP

An appointment must be made via the Library Service on 0161 217 6009.

Covid restrictions:

Every effort is being made to make copies available for inspection, including online and printed copies at the locations above.  Under current regulations, it is only permitted to leave your home for reasonable excuses, which may include attending libraries for specific reasons.  If you are unable to view the documents online, you may make an appointment with the library service to view the High Lane Village Neighbourhood Plan.

When attending a library, you must observe Covid safety measures in place, including wearing a mask inside the building, using hand sanitiser at the entrance and following instructions from library staff.  You will not be admitted without an appointment.  You must not attend the library if you are experiencing any Covid-like symptoms.

The availability of printed copies and viewing appointments is limited, and is subject to changing lockdown restrictions.

Representations:

Anyone wishing to make representations on the proposed High Lane Village Neighbourhood Plan must do so via the website (above), by email or in writing (to the email or postal address below) by 11.59pm Sunday 14th March 2021.

Any representations may include a request to be notified of the local planning authority’s decision under regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the neighbourhood development plan.
