What will it cost ?

Books are free to borrow. There is a hire charge for audio visual items which varies according to the format eg. video, CD, DVD or talking books. There are no fines for children under 13 on books returned late.

Need to use a computer ?

The library has a computer which is free to use. You can access email, the Internet, write your CV, get help with homework, write letters and look at the library catalogue. There will be a charge for printing out any information. This is a very popular service so you are advised to book in advance. Library staff are happy to help you.

Can't find a book ?

There are over 400,000 books available in Stockport libraries but sometimes the one you want isn't on the shelf.
