The Mayor of Stockport, Cllr Hazel Lees, is opening Asda’s new Hazel Grove store at 10am next Monday 20th September.
The new store is 19,691 sq ft in size and is situated in London Road, Hazel Grove.
Asda Hazel Grove will be looking to bring customers everything under one roof and offer a full weekly shop at the everyday low prices Asda is renowned for.
New store manager, Nerys Lyne, said: “We can’t wait to open our doors in Hazel grove as we believe we are going to offer shoppers in the area lower prices but without compromising on quality. I am keen to meet customers next week and hear what they think of our store and I’m grateful to the Mayor for taking the time to celebrate our first day with us.”
Shoppers at the new store can also take advantage of the Asda Price Guarantee which gives them a simple code on their receipt to independently check whether their shopping did indeed cost less at Asda. If they could have got it cheaper elsewhere, Asda will refund the difference, plus a penny.
