East Cheshire National Trust Association Talk – 12th December

The East Cheshire National Trust Association Talk: The Fatal bombing of New Mills and Hayfield in 1942 by Frank Pleszak  is on Tuesday 12th December 2023 at the Brookdale Club, Bridge Lane, Bramhall, Stockport SK7 2AB from 2:00pm – 3:30pm.

Frank Pleszak gave a very enjoyable talk in January on the Dambusters.

He has agreed to go along again and talk about a fatal Second World War bombing raid on 2 remote Derbyshire villages, with an attack on the iconic Chatsworth House. The German raiders were shot down by Spitfires of the famous Battle of Britain 303 Polish Squadron.
